Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource advisor/budget analyst of day-to-day financial management activities and resolving routine budget issues.
• Analyze organizational funds in collaboration with command and budget office counterparts to ensure proper utilization and identify funding needs.
• Execute and administer the budget by tracking obligations and expenditures, identifying funding imbalances, and recommending reprogramming or adjustments.
• Formulate annual budget estimates and financial plans by reviewing organizational submissions for accuracy, trends, and compliance with regulations.
• Advise on budgeting and related information such as types of funding available, effects of budgetary changes, and status and use of funds.

This position is located at the 319th Medical Group, Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

• Serve as a resource advisor/budget analyst of day-to-day financial management activities and resolving routine budget issues.
• Analyze organizational funds in collaboration with command and budget office counterparts to ensure proper utilization and identify funding needs.
• Execute and administer the budget by tracking obligations and expenditures, identifying funding imbalances, and recommending reprogramming or adjustments.

• Advise on budgeting and related information such as types of funding available, effects of budgetary changes, and status and use of funds.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis Testing and/or record of Tuberculosis Testing.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• This position requires selectee to obtain a Financial Management Certification Level 2 within one year of hire.
• This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
