As a key member of the team, you will be immersed in the financial landscape of music content and studios. You’ll dive deep into data, build insightful models, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial health and drive strategic growth. Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze historical and current financial data to produce accurate reports and forecasts, informing strategic planning and resource allocation.
  2. Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate performance, profitability, and long-term planning for music content and studios, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
  3. Support essential monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial operations.
  4. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful recommendations to optimize financial performance and drive growth.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders across the music organization to understand business drivers and their financial impact, fostering a collaborative and informed approach to financial planning.
  6. Prepare and maintain comprehensive budget dashboards, financial summaries, and presentation materials for leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and data-driven insights.
  7. Identify emerging financial trends, potential risks, and promising opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to navigate the evolving financial landscape.
  8. Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed, contributing to a dynamic and responsive financial planning function.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  4. Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  1. Master’s degree or MBA.
  2. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  3. Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
  4. Working knowledge of Airtable or similar collaborative data platforms.
  5. Process-oriented with a focus on improving reporting workflows and tools.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.64 to $50.72 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
