Qualifications

• Three years of experience performing clerical accounting or bookkeeping duties.
• Experience in a public sector or public school setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial record-keeping practices and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and technical budget and accounting work in support of assigned programs.
• Verify, audit, and balance ledgers, journals, and accounts.
• Process accounts payable, invoices, reimbursements, and payments.
• Provide accounting support and respond to inquiries from SBCEO staff and external agencies.
• Prepare, audit, and maintain financial records, reports, and statements.
• Use databases and software to generate computerized reports and statements.
