Job summary

Engineered Floors, LLC in Dalton, GA is seeking a detail‑oriented associate to coordinate the carpet tile packout line and ensure accurate labeling and coding of goods. You will repair carpet segments, verify styles and count off items for shipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires knowledge of CAMS AS400, proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel, and the ability to work without direct supervision. Prior packing line experience is preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of CAMS AS400 required.
• Must pass Munsell Color Test.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the carpet tile packout line and repair carpet as needed.
• Verify styles, code and count off goods for shipment.
• Lift full stacks of tiles from line to feed table.
• Oversee line operations to prevent mislabeled cartons/pallets.
• Oversee style changeovers and purge before next style.
• Use CAMS AS400 for inputting waste, verifying styles, and monitoring press schedule.
• Count and code all defective tiles accurately.
• Troubleshoot issues with stackers, conveyors, tamper, boxer, robot stacker, and pallet indexer.

Job Summary

Coordinates the efforts of the carpet tile packout line; which includes but is not limited to: repairing carpet, verifying styles, coding and counting off goods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lift full stacks of tiles off the line at one location and transport them to the feed table.
• Oversee line operations to insure there are no mislabeled cartons/pallets.
• Oversee style changeovers and verify the line is purged prior to beginning the next style.
• Use CAMS AS400 system for various tasks such as inputting waste, verifying styles, and monitoring the press schedule.
• Accurately count and code all defective tiles.
• Troubleshoot/correct issues with the following:
  • Stackers
  • Conveyor lines
  • Tamper
  • Top & bottom boxer
  • Robot stacker
  • Pallet Indexer

Experience/Education Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of CAMS AS400
• Must pass Munsell Color Test
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge is preferred.
• Previous experience in similar position is preferred.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision.

• Able to sit or stand for long periods.
