Overview

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently climbing trees to perform tree trimming, rigging, and other tree care tasks. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of tree care techniques and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely climb trees using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment for elevated work
• Rig branches and limbs for safe removal
• Assist with ground operations including chipping, hauling, and cleanup
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and job completion
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tree care practices and techniques
• Proficiency in using tree climbing gear such as harnesses, ropes, and climbing spikes
• Experience operating bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment
• Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe branch removal
• Ability to assess tree health and identify potential hazards
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
