Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Bucket Operator to assist with clearing and removing trees along power lines and right-of-ways. You will operate an aerial bucket truck to reach branches interfering with electrical lines and ensure safe access for crews.

The role involves coordinating with property owners, equipment operation, and maintaining safety standards. A commercial driver's license is required, and pre-employment checks are performed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of related industry experience required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, direct, check, and coordinate work.
• Obtain permissions from property owners to trim or remove trees near property.
• Maintain customer relations and proper behavior of crew.
• Coordinate with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Set up barriers, warning signs, and safety measures around work areas.
• Operate and service equipment such as bucket trucks, saws, chippers, sprayers; perform bucket work near energized lines.
• Train new personnel and ensure safety practices are followed.
