Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Saint Augustine, FL seeks a Bucket Operator to assist with clearing and removing trees along power lines. You will operate an aerial lift (bucket truck) to reach branches near energized lines and ensure safe work near utilities.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a competitive hourly pay and benefits package. Training and adherence to safety standards are required for field operations and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with the electrical hazard.
• 1+ year of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Obtains written or oral permission from property owners to trim or remove trees or perform other work on property.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Operates and services equipment, such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, buckets, chippers, and sprayers.
• Operates a Bucket near energized lines to remove branches and tree material.
• Trains new personnel.
