Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Sunderland, VT is seeking a Bucket Operator to operate heavy equipment, including bucket trucks, and perform pruning and removal of branches from electrical lines. Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL and DOT Medical Card preferred. Full-time with benefits; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities include equipment prep, maintenance, safe operation, and assisting crew under foreperson direction. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience preferred in related fields.
• CDL and DOT Medical Card required for driving positions.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work.
• Operate bucket truck and equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Assist crew and lead when required.
• Set up barriers, signs, and markers to protect workers and the public.
• Report mileage to Foreperson.
• L assist with storm restoration duties as needed.
