About Us

Dear U (The Bubble) is a global fan communication platform company originating in South Korea, dedicated to connecting artists and fans around the world through innovative digital services and IP-based content. Building on its strong presence in the global fandom industry, Dear U is now expanding its footprint in the United States.

As part of this U.S. expansion, Dear U is preparing to launch a flagship retail and fan experience destination in the heart of New York City. This new location will bring the Bubble experience to life through exclusive merchandise, immersive brand experiences, and special artist-related events, creating a unique space where fans can connect more closely with the artists they love.

We are seeking talented professionals to join us during this exciting stage of growth and help establish Dear U’s presence in the U.S. market. Our team will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and meaningful fan engagement.

The Role

The Bubble Deli Experience Specialist brings Bubble House’s signature Bubble Deli to life. Stationed at the deli counter, the Specialist performs a scripted, theatrical “deli service” in which guests order, watch their items get “prepared,” and receive exclusive plush deli items and Bubble merchandise as a keepsake fan moment. The role blends live performance, storytelling, and selling: every guest leaves with a purchase and a story worth sharing.

Beyond the counter, the Specialist helps develop the scripts, characters, and seasonal menus that keep the Bubble Deli fresh, and supports artist events, product launches, and fan activations across the store. As a full‑time team member, the Specialist also owns the Bubble Deli as a department, including its supplies, readiness, and results.

  • Adapt your style to engage every guest, from first‑time visitors and families to dedicated K‑pop fans.
  • Manage multiple guests and a live audience at once, especially during peak hours and events, without compromising the experience.
  • Stay positive and in character for extended periods, reading the crowd and adjusting pace to customer flow and queue length.
  • Create shareable moments (photo cues, call‑outs, fan chants) that encourage social posting and repeat visits.
Selling & Product Expertise
  • Use brand, artist, and product knowledge to recommend Bubble Deli items and exclusive merchandise and build the guest’s order.
  • Demonstrate strong selling techniques to meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs (e.g., sales per hour, units per transaction, conversion).
  • Be the expert on the Bubble Deli menu, limited drops, and artist collaborations, and make sure all information given to guests is accurate.
  • Process transactions accurately and follow store policies for payment, returns, and purchase limits on exclusive items.
Performance Design & Storytelling
  • Support write and refine Bubble Deli scripts, performance cues, and guest interaction guidelines for the deli team and other retail associates.
  • Support new menu “characters,” seasonal menus, and themed performances that support artist campaigns, product launches, and holidays.
  • Collaborate with Store Trainer and Store Manager to bring artist concepts and Bubble brand storytelling into the deli experience.

  • Monitor deli inventory levels, flag low stock, and replenish the counter and nearby areas to maintain visual and brand standards.
  • Open and close the Bubble Deli station according to store procedures.
  • Escalate maintenance or equipment issues that could prevent the experience from running as planned.
What You Have
