Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Seasonal Retail Crew Member in Dallas, TX to deliver best-in-class service and engage with fans of our immersive experiences.

The role involves restocking, inventory processing, POS transactions, and maintaining a welcoming guest environment. It requires flexibility for weekends/holidays in a 365-day operation.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, hospitality, attractions or F&B.
• Knowledge of our platform and shows.
• Excellent teamwork, proactive demeanor.
• Strong customer service, conflict resolution and communication.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to learn EHS protocols.
• Availability for weekends/holidays in a 365-day operation.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise and maintain visually appealing sales areas.
• Receive, unpack, organize, and process incoming inventory.
• Maintain stockroom organization to support replenishment.
• Monitor floor inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Lift up to 50 lbs to replenish and process inventory.
• Support opening/closing procedures, including restocking and cleaning.
• Operate a POS system and process transactions.
• Engage with fans and act as brand ambassador.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Role

The Seasonal Retail Crew Member is part of the opening operational team and is responsible for bringing our immersive experiences to life. Crew Members encourage fandom through delivering best-in-class customer service and creating an exceptional guest experience. The ideal Crew Member is passionate about engaging in conversations about series and films. The Crew Member will provide general information, sell and scan tickets, manage guest flow and queuing, sell merchandise, and more.

This on-site, seasonal hourly role is based in Dallas, TX.

What You Will Do

• Assist with daily restocking of merchandise, beverages, and retail supplies to maintain fully stocked and visually appealing sales areas
• Receive, unpack, organize, and process incoming inventory in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain organized and accurate stockroom areas to support efficient replenishment and inventory management
• Monitor sales floor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to Retail Leadership
• Capable of lifting or transporting inventory weighing up to 50 lbs to facilitate replenishment and processing
• Support opening and closing retail procedures, including restocking, recovery, cleaning, and securing merchandise
• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions as needed, including cash, credit/debit, and other approved payment methods
• Provide best-in-class service by actively engaging with our Fans
• Act as a brand ambassador to help drive increased fandom and engagement with our shows
• Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including emergency procedures
• Foster a culture of safety in all actions
• Other duties as assigned

What We Need From You

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment
• Demonstrated experience and success in fast-paced retail, hospitality, attractions, and F&B operations
• Knowledge of our platform and shows
• Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive demeanor
• Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Fluency in additional languages is a plus
• Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate
• Willingness to learn environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, at a 365-day operation

Pay Rate Range

• $16–18/hr.
