Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking an Assistant Bubble Bag Operator to support the safe operation of plastic manufacturing equipment. You will assist in adjustments of gauges and digital controls to maintain quality and efficiency on the afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), earning $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, material gathering, station readiness, producing quality products, and helping complete reports. Overtime and weekend work are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of factory experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends.

  • Assist in safe operation and adjustments of equipment.
  • Gather and measure raw materials and parts to specification.
  • Prepare station for production.
  • Assist in manufacturing of quality products.
  • Help Operator complete required reports.
  • Maintain housekeeping and 6S on machines and surroundings.
  • Assist with troubleshooting when problems arise.
  • Perform duties of other team members during breaks/absences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary: The Assistant Bubble Bag Operator assists the Operator in the safe operation of plasticmanufacturing equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges and digital control systems that adjust speed, temperature, and air pressure while also focusing onsafety and efficiency.

Pay: $18.00

Shift: Afternoon:3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
  • Gather and measure raw materials and parts required to specification.
  • Prepare station for production process.
  • Assist in the operations of manufacturing of quality products.
  • Help Operator complete al required reports.
  • Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise.
  • Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Awareness towards safety.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
  • Able to work overtime and on weekends.
Other Requirements:
  • Operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Must be able to routinely work in a “hot room” (up to 110 degrees F at times).
