Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Keyser, WV is seeking a Night Shift Bag Converting Operator to run bag converting equipment and perform quality checks according to ISO 9001:2008 to meet stock and custom work order specs.

You will adjust machines, procure supplies, support setup to minimize downtime, and help train new operators, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; lifting up to 60 pounds and basic measurement with a ruler are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift a maximum of 60 pounds as needed.
• Ability to use a ruler.
• Strong mechanical and math skills preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate bag converting equipment and perform quality checks per ISO 9001:2008 to meet work order specs.
• Perform minor machine adjustments including startup to maintain quality and uptime.
• Procure operating supplies and provide production data to track run time and labor distribution.
• Assist setup during setup to decrease downtime.
• Maintain workstation housekeeping to provide a safe, clean work environment.
• Train new operators to increase departmental flexibility and expertise.
• Follow all prescribed or standard safety rules.

Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

Operate a variety of bag converting equipment and perform minor operating adjustments to produce a quality product to stock or custom work order specifications.

Pay: $19.00

Shift: Night
