Zusammenfassung

OPmobility is seeking an experienced Industrial Supply Chain Excellence Engineer at the Fairfax/Kansas City site with a long-term, at-will contract. The role focuses on improving internal flows, storage systems, and automated transport while driving best practices across plants.

You will lead safety initiatives, benchmarking, and VSM/MIFD workshops, and contribute to strategic planning for future projects in the automotive supply chain domain.

Qualifikationen

• Foreign trade degree or applied knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in process mapping and flow optimization.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics, including internal flows, material handling, and inventory management with SAP, MRP & WMS.
• Data analysis and problem solving using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Project management experience; inventory budget management and KPI tracking.
• SIOP experience; automotive supply chain operations and lean manufacturing.

• Job Title : Industrial Supply Chain Excellence Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Promote safety culture, ensure safety policies are understood and respected.
• Organize Internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and Technological Innovation.
• Design and develop best in class solutions for:
• Storage Means (Hanging Shopstock, WIP trolley, Racks, Transtocker, Warehouse, ...)
• Automated Transport (Tow AGV, lift AGV, Forklift AGV, ...)
• Create and update all internal flows engineering Standards for application in Operations & Engineering.
• Deliver training and share best practices to the Supply Chain Community.
• Lead VSM/MIFD workshops in plants and develop strategic plan for plant layout and flows transformation to improve performance and prepare for future projects
• Provide strategic inputs and direction for complex quotation phases.
• Provide strategic inputs and direction for Plants during planning, design and execution of Internal Flows projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Foreign trade degree or applied knowledge a plus
• Process Mapping & Flow Optimization knowledge
• Supply Chain & Logistics Knowledge (especially internal flows, material handling, and inventory management) with SAP, MRP & WMS.
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
• Project Management
• Inventory management experience
• Supply chain management experience
• Inventory budget management experience and KPI tracking
• SIOP (Sales Inventory & operational Planning)
• Experience 10+ years in Automotive Supply Chain Operations (Internal flows especially, external flows also appreciated) & Lean Manufacturing.
