Job summary

Hope is seeking Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician staff for the Cordova, TN area. You will work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic, applying ABA techniques to teach communication and early learning goals.

Morning and afternoon shifts, with both full-time and part-time options, are available. We value a supportive environment and require 18+ with a HS diploma and a successful background clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.
• Preference for Associate’s or Bachelor’s in psychology, education, or human services.
• RBT credential from the BACB is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach children with ASD using ABA principles.
• Communicate progress with families/guardians.
• Track session data with the treatment team.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic activities.
• Present a professional appearance and attitude.

Hourly Rate: $16-$18

Consistent scheduling & daytime hours.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

WHAT WE PREFER:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with children.
• Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
