Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in the United States seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to advance kernel, drivers, and board bring-up tasks. You will optimize system performance and collaborate with hardware teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will apply C/C++, Python, and Linux/QNX expertise, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and maintain system stability across hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BSP and board bring-up experience.
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills.
• Experience with embedded Linux or QNX.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and USB.
• Understanding of bootloader and system architecture.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and test Linux kernel and device drivers.
• Perform board bring-up and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Optimize system performance, memory, and boot processes.
• Develop software using C, C++, and Python.
• Work with UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB, and TCP/IP.
• Support QNX/Linux operating systems, security, and software updates.
• Work with hypervisors and virtualization technologies.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Follow Agile and DevOps development practices.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to resolve system-level issues.
