Job summary

South College is seeking a BSN Program Coordinator to supervise and advance the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The role includes organization, administration, compliance, and evaluating program effectiveness, with teaching duties in the candidate's area.

The ideal candidate will hold an MSN or higher, possess an unrestricted RN license in Tennessee or eNLC states, and have experience teaching at the post-secondary level. Proficiency in curriculum design and program planning is preferred.

The BSN Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness, including instructor supervision. Also, the Program Director teaches in his/her assigned area, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction, is responsible for faculty training and development, and coordination and administration of the academic program for achievement of student outcomes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess effective interpersonal and written communication skills and meet the required qualifications below:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher
• Hold an unrestricted RN license to practice in Tennessee or in one of the eNLC compact states.
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
• Preferred - Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
