Job summary
Chamberlain University seeks Part-Time Nursing Faculty to teach the BSN program online and in person in the Chicagoland area. You will serve as facilitator, role model, coach, and advisor, incorporating Chamberlain Care to educate diverse nursing professionals.
Faculty lead asynchronous discussions and weekly live lectures, with AM/PM scheduling options and timely responses to student inquiries.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or higher is required.
- Unencumbered Illinois RN licensure will be required to teach all courses.
- 2+ years' experience teaching didactic nursing courses for a college or university is required.
- Teaching experience with an online learning platform such as Canvas is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide students with a Chamberlain University approved syllabus.
- Organize, prepare, and regularly revise course materials.
- Lead asynchronous discussions and synchronous live lectures weekly.
