Job summary

The role involves working with PIs and teams on pathogenic bacteria and viruses including SARS-CoV-2 and M. tuberculosis, performing MICs and DNA/RNA extraction, and supporting IACUC/IBC processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with infectious disease research in containment labs.
• Hands-on experience with BSL3 pathogens.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and testing of new assays in BSL3/ABSL3 environments.
• Collaborate with investigators and research teams on projects involving bacterial and viral research.
• Assist in IACUC approvals, renewals, and submissions; support animal study designs.
