Job summary

Winpak in Senoia, Georgia, seeks a dedicated BSB Bag Machine Operator to run the BSB01 barrier shrink bag machine, ensuring high-quality products meet customer specs and maintaining a safe, clean production area. The role reports to the Barrier Shrink Bag Plant Supervisor and requires a high school diploma with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.

Shift is 11:00pm–7:00am with possible overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred, especially in blown film or bag making.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the BSB01 machine for safe, efficient production.
• Monitor machine conditions and report issues promptly to supervision.
• Perform regular quality checks per ISO guidelines.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Label, weigh, and seal finished product boxes accurately.
• Maintain accurate production data logs (box weights, quantities).
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and ensure proper material supply.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive work environment.

Job description

Winpak is looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious BSB Bag Machine Operator to join our team in Senoia, Georgia.

In this role, you will operate the barrier shrink bag machine, ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Reporting to the Barrier Shrink Bag Plant Supervisor, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, productive, and clean work environment, while ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the BSB01 machine, ensuring safe and efficient production.
• Monitor machine conditions, reporting any issues promptly to supervision.
• Perform regular quality checks in accordance with ISO quality system guidelines.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Label, weigh, and seal finished product boxes accurately.
• Keep an accurate log of production data including box weights and product quantity.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Maintain adequate raw material supply and monitor process changes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to promote a positive work environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, with a preference for experience in blown film or bag making.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with blown film or bag making machinery.
• Technical/mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience in manufacturing processes.
• Experience in maintaining production equipment and performing routine machine checks.

Additional Details

• This position is full-time and based on3 rd (11:00pm to 7:00am)] schedule, including occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• The position requires working on-site in Senoia, GA.

Compensation Range

$20.00 an hour.

The compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and expertise.
