Job summary

United Bank is seeking a compliance professional to join our BSA/AML team in Charleston, WV. The role focuses on evaluating risk, monitoring regulatory requirements, and preparing SARs.

Candidates with CAMS certification or the ability to earn it within a year will be highly considered. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or Finance, with at least five years of BSA experience and knowledge of OFAC, SARs, CIP, and other regulatory programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Criminal Justice, Business or Finance.
• Minimum five (5) years of BSA experience, law enforcement, or regulators experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience completing SARs; No SARs required.
• CAMS Certification required, or ability to earn within one year in the position.
• Knowledge of BSA, OFAC, SARs, CIP, 314a, CDD, PEPs is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Able to perform simple/complex mathematical calculations.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in time management and multitasking.
