Job summary

Stride Bank, N.A. is seeking a BSA Investigations Analyst II to perform research and investigation of customer and transactional data, and report to applicable governmental agencies and law enforcement.

This role involves collecting, analyzing, documenting findings, and completing required reports to comply with bank regulations. The position requires 1–2 years of BSA/AML, fraud, analysis, or case investigation experience, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in BSA/AML, fraud, analysis, or case investigation.
• Ability to independently analyze data and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze reports to detect money laundering, cyber-crime, identity theft, terrorist financing, fraud, or other suspicious activity.
• Research using public and non-public sources and base decisions on findings.
• Identify information needed and request data from third-party providers or 314(b) participating institutions.
• Maintain confidentiality when compiling investigative information and interacting with internal/external resources.
• Recommend account closure, customer termination, and SAR/CTR filing as warranted and ensure actions are completed.
• Create and maintain case files, write investigations summaries, and file SARs/CTRs within deadlines.
• Evaluate new trends and threats and escalate to management.
• Assist with regulatory form reviews to ensure accuracy before filing.
• Perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk accounts and maintain CDD and risk rating processes.
• Manage actions on internal and external requests, including 314(b) responses.
• Serve as escalation point and SME for Investigations Analyst I tasks and systems.
• Train and mentor new team members and foster collaboration across business lines.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
