Job summary

Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union in Alpena, MI is seeking a BSA Analyst to support compliance and financial operations by maintaining records and reports related to Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and related regulations.

You will monitor cash activity, prepare various reports, assist the BSA Officer, and help ensure timely filings while upholding accuracy and confidentiality. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• One to three years of related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring of cash logs for compliance with BSA/AML and related regulations.
• Review and transmit Currency Transaction Reports.
• Assist BSA Officer with monitoring higher risk members.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and credit union policies.
• Identify suspicious activity and report to BSA Officer.
• Support accounting department tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
