Job summary

Reading Cooperative Bank is seeking an Assistant BSA Officer to lead AML investigations and help drive compliance programs across the bank. Reporting to the VP, BSA & Vendor Management, you will own complex investigations, oversee monitoring and SAR filings, and partner with teams to strengthen CDD/KYC/EDD practices.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of five years in BSA/AML and a Bachelor's degree, with strong analytical and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in BSA/AML or a related field.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AML investigations and high-risk reviews with risk-based decisions.
• Oversee SAR preparation and filings and coordinate regulatory responses.
• Provide SME guidance, training, and support across the bank.
• Coordinate regulatory exams, audits, and law enforcement requests.
• Enhance customer due diligence, KYC, and enhanced due diligence practices.
