Job summary

First Bank and Trust in Bristol, VA is seeking a BSA Administrator to support the Bank Secrecy Act and AML program. You will monitor activity, investigate alerts, prepare reports, and assist with SARs while guiding branch personnel and maintaining compliance records.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years’ banking experience, with strong MS Word/Excel skills and Verafin knowledge. This is an office-based position with standard banking hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years banking experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of BSA/AML and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review daily cash and transaction reports and related documents.
• Process reports and alerts in Verafin BSA/AML software.
• Prepare CTRs and assist with SARs as needed.
• Support branch personnel on BSA matters and documentation.
• Gather documentation for regulatory examinations and audits.
