Job summary

Tennessee Bankers Association is seeking a Bank Secrecy Act Officer for a Northeast Tennessee community bank. The role develops and administers the BSA/AML program, advises on regulatory issues and guides controls to mitigate risk.

Responsibilities include coordinating regulator examinations, maintaining regulatory knowledge, and developing BSA policies. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years BSA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in Bank Secrecy Act.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of the corporate-wide BSA and AML programs.
• Coordinating and assisting in regulator and auditor examinations and reviews.
• Coordinating responses to regulatory BSA-AML examinations and audits and ensuring deficiencies are corrected.
• Maintains proficient knowledge of BSA, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.
• Develop and maintain BSA related policies and procedures.
• Acts as the Bank's OFAC Officer.
• Other duties as assigned.
