Job summary

Hancock Whitney Corp. in Gulfport, MS seeks a BSA Analyst to conduct complex reviews of customer and transactional information and mitigate risk to the bank. You will analyze activity for suspicious behavior and prepare documentation for investigations and SAR referrals.

You will work with account officers, Legal, Corporate Security, auditors and external examiners, maintain case files, and support day-to-day operations and department initiatives with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience involving BSA/AML operations.
• CAMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines reports to determine if investigations are warranted.
• Analyzes transactional data for suspicious activity per BSA/AML policies.
• Prepares research documentation and officer communications for investigations.
• Maintains detailed case files and SAR documentation.
• Distributes SAR data to various departments for review.
