Job summary

MercyFirst is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a residential site for youth with histories of trauma. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills, with responsibilities including maintaining a safe environment, supervising clients, and ensuring adherence to agency policies.

Ideal candidates will possess a related Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience. A comprehensive benefactor package is included, along with a hiring bonus of $1,000 after 500 hours worked.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in residential care.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must be available to respond during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for youth and families.
• Supervise clients’ participation in activities.
• Hire and train assigned staff.

Skills

Related Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of related experience or High School Diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience

Valid driver’s license

Willingness to respond to needs during evenings and weekends

Completion of all required training

Knowledge of agency’s mission and commitment to DEIB

FDNY Certificates of fitness for Fire Drills (F-07)

Knowledge of Infant and Early Childhood care practices

Education
