Zusammenfassung

BRIC Arts Media, a Brooklyn-based arts and media institution, seeks a full-time Government Affairs Associate to support government fundraising efforts and contract administration.

You will assist with grant applications, reporting, budget management, CRM data, and compliance across federal, state, and local agencies. Collaboration across Finance, Communications, and Programs is essential to success.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, advocacy, or related nonprofit work.
• Strong understanding of NYC and NYS government and legislative processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and KPIs.

Aufgaben

• Support administration of BRIC's government grants and contracts from application through final reporting.
• Summarize funding requirements and ensure contractual compliance with Finance, Communications, Operations, and Program staff.
• Track grants, contracts, awards, payments, deliverables, and deadlines with accurate records.
• Maintain compliance filings in PASSPort, Grants Gateway, SFS, SAM.gov, and related systems.
• Monitor funding opportunities, legislative activity, and agency announcements relevant to BRIC.
