Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY is hiring a Substance Use Clinician (CASAC preferred) to support children and families within the child welfare system. The role requires assessment, consultation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Starting salary is $34 per hour, with a typical schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, and occasional travel between Bronx locations; benefits are comprehensive.

Qualifications

• Credential CASAC preferred; MA often preferred; BA acceptable.
• 5+ years of professional experience in substance use treatment.
• Experience with families involved in child welfare or high-need systems.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough assessments of substance use needs with family context.
• Provide consultation to child welfare staff and translate findings into case plans.
• Recommend referrals, treatments, and community resources for coordinated care.
• Contribute expertise in substance use during team meetings and discussions.
• Document findings clearly with sensitivity to families and staff.
