Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven physician to join our post-acute care team in the Bronx, New York. This full-time role (5 days/week) involves rounding in skilled nursing facilities with strong support, autonomy, and earning potential.

You will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and build lasting relationships with patients and families. Growth and onboarding programs are included.

Qualifications

• Current physician license (State of New York) and DEA.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and exams.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other professionals in a team approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
