Montefiore Einstein is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem in the Bronx, NY. The role emphasizes leadership in coordinating patient care, developing an interdisciplinary plan, and ensuring each patient has a documented and current care plan. Per Diem scheduling offers flexibility for experienced RNs.

Required BSN, NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS, with up-to-date infection control training. One year of hospital/clinic RN experience is expected, with venipuncture skills highly preferred.

Formación

• BSN in Nursing required.
• 1 year RN experience in a hospital or clinic required.
• Certifications: NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, Infection Control Training; specialty certification upon hire preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care.
• Coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Ensure documented plan of care for all assigned patients.
• Ensure completion of patient care assignments.
• Delegate care tasks to team members within scope.
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Mentor and orient associates during onboarding.
• Complete admissions assessments within 8 hours.
• Document patient and family teaching needs before discharge.
• Evaluate progress and adjust the care plan as needed.
