Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited college, university, or community college.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure and understanding of the transportation industry.
• Participate in daily transportation brokerage activities; verify carrier authenticity, maintain shipment records, and monitor freight movement to uphold service expectations.
• Build understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and capacity challenges that support carrier negotiations and contribute to revenue and margins.
• Observe and practice serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers: communicate service failures to minimize cost and inefficiencies while delivering best‑in‑class service.
• Learn about the technology and tools used to streamline workflows and load management.
