Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a detail-oriented Onboarding and Maintenance Associate to support account creation and upkeep for brokerage clients. You will review documentation, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely processing within a fast-paced team environment.

Role involves heavy collaboration, strong communication, and adherence to risk controls while working onsite in a structured operations setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting brokerage accounts or clients in operations, client service, customer service, or related environment.
• Experience managing a high-volume personal caseload, prioritizing work to meet 48-hour turnaround times.
• Ability to apply judgment within guidelines to resolve routine exceptions while escalating risks appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective phone and email interactions.
• Ability to work 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Performs onboarding and maintenance of accounts and reviews required documentations.
• Reviews and approves required account documentation, obtaining approvals or exceptions, and completing requests.
• Responds to client inquiries via multiple channels to support efficiency and service.
• Conducts basic research to resolve routine processing errors and exceptions.
• Escalates potential issues by understanding upstream and downstream workflow.
• Provides general operational support including handling inbound calls and mail distribution.
• Understands end-to-end process flow and controls and downstream impacts.
