Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee The purpose of this role is to develop and analyze customer and broker data in order to generate insights to support Commercial and Specialty underwriting teams in both daily operations and strategic ambitions.

Broker Partnerships Senior Specialist

  • Location: USA – NY – New York, GA-Atlanta and IL-Chicago
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid
  • The salary range for this role is:$75,0000 - $141,000

The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to develop and analyze customer and broker data in order to generate insights to support Commercial and Specialty underwriting teams in both daily operations and strategic ambitions.

Your New Role:

  • Identify opportunities and develop systems to expand capture of customer and broker data leveraging both process and technology
  • Produce reports and briefings on customer and broker relationships and surface key insights for Underwriting and Distribution leaders
  • Cross-reference broker pipeline data with QBE data and underwriting appetite to facilitate efficient target account targeting
  • Support Distribution leaders as an associate relationship manager on national broker relationships
  • Assist with ad-hoc reports and special projects by analyzing requests, manipulating data, and ensuring reports align with business needs.
  • Communicate with Underwriting leaders to gather feedback on broker relationships and business priorities

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

  • 5+ years of Commercial and Specialty insurance experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Work Experience includes:

  • Experience in Business Analyst/Reporting Analyst role, with Qlikview, Power BI, or Tableau experience
  • Experience in translating data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working with relational databases, emerging data sources, and developing reporting and data analytic solutions.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
