Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is seeking a dedicated Broiler Cook to prepare meats, poultry and seafood to Ruth’s Chris standards. You’ll supervise the broil station, coordinate with the Chef and other line cooks, and ensure timely, high-quality plates for guests.

The role requires staying on schedule, maintaining equipment and sanitation, and supporting the kitchen during service. Nights, weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a broiler cook in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience with fresh products preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work on time and works on the broil station as scheduled.
• Sets up the broil station with equipment, ingredients and supplies.
• Assists the Chef in cutting meat and preparing according to Ruth’s Chris standards.
• Maintains sanitation and safety; communicates issues to the Chef/Manager.
• Supervises the kitchen line during service to control quality, flow and timing.
• Ensures correct portioning, plating and timing for entrées.
• Keeps oven and broiler clean; completes station closing duties.
