We are recruiting part‑time and temporary faculty for the Broadcasting Instructor (Pool) position, available on an as‑needed basis. The assignment is contingent on student enrollment each semester.
Classification Title: Broadcasting Instructor Pool-Part-Time
Salary Range: $1572.67 – $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 – $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 – $1380.60 per lab unit rate

We are seeking instructors to teach the following courses, with the potential for continuing appointments based on need.
For CRTV 235, students gain a technical, creative and legal foundation for producing live radio and podcast content. Students produce shows or segments for the 24‑hour internet radio station, Hornet Radio. For CRTV 129, students learn to produce video and audio news packages following broadcast journalism standards.
The candidate(s) will design syllabi, train students in necessary technology, and teach both lecture and lab hours. The journalism/radio department provides curriculum development support and technical assistance.
Instructors will have access to the Adobe Creative Suite and Fullerton College library resources and may offer paid office hours.
Those teaching at least six units per semester (approximately two classes) have access to health insurance under the current adjunct faculty bargaining contract.
All degrees and coursework used to satisfy the required minimum qualifications must be submitted from accredited post‑secondary institutions.
Evaluations of foreign degrees and/or coursework are required. See the college website for information regarding evaluation of foreign degrees.
The selected candidate will be required to provide official transcripts, verification of experience, identification and employment eligibility documentation, fingerprints, and required medical certification. No visa sponsorship is available.
