Job summary

Summit Technology Group, based in Keego Harbor, MI, seeks an entry-level Broadcast Tech I to join our installation team. Role involves traveling 50-75% to client sites nationwide and performing assembly, wiring, and on-site support for broadcast equipment.

Ideal candidates are able to lift 50 pounds, pass a background check, and hold good communications skills. Proficiency in Office tools is a plus; benefits and travel included.

Qualifications

• Entry level assembly and wiring experience is expected.
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation are required.
• Candidates must be able to travel domestically and pass background checks.
• A valid driving record and drug test clearance are mandatory.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; familiarity with audio/broadcast gear is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install broadcast equipment as part of the installation team.
• Travel 50-75% of the time to domestic locations.
• Interact professionally with clients and maintain a neat on-site appearance.
• Support warehouse operations including lifting and equipment handling.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for reporting and coordination.

Join the Summit Technology Group installation team for an exciting and challenging career experience. Our firm specializes in broadcast engineering from studio to transmitter site as well as has a software division. Applicants will work on the installation team and travel 50-75% of the time with a 3 week on/1 week off rotation and all major holidays at home. Off the road work will be performed at Summit Technology Group's headquarter office in Keego Harbor, MI.

Requirements (Experience, Education, Etc.)

• Entry level assembly and wiring
• Good communications skills
• Conduct yourself in a professional and presentable manner with clients
• Ability to travel via air and ground to domestic locations throughout the country
• Clean driving record and pass a background check
• Pass a drug test
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Good understanding of audio or broadcast gear a plus
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace a plus

Work In Our Warehouse May Also Require The Following

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to drive forklifts, hi-lo, or other equipment
• Knowledge of inventory systems and barcode scanner systems
