Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, BOC Operations in Stamford to plan and manage daily operations for the Stamford Sports Facility, supporting NBC Sports and Peacock productions with in-studio and remote facilities usage.

You will oversee planning, booking, monitoring, and transmission workflows, coordinating with outlets, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate coverage of live and taped sports events. Strong broadcast ops experience is essential.

Qualifications

,BA/BS in communications/television production or related field; equivalent work experience.
5+ years experience in TV production/broadcast operations or 7+ years with ingest/live master control.
Knowledge of satellite/fiber transmission and format specs.
Proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations from planning, booking, and monitoring high-profile sporting events.
Strategic transmission planning for remote shows and productions.
Act as liaison with media outlets and master controls (30 Rock, Versant, Dry Creek, Peacock and others).
Coordinate with vendors on signal and connectivity planning for projects.
Disseminate information to production and operations staff.
Track budgets for projects and live shots.
Respond to breaking news as primary sports newsgathering contact.
Schedule all live ingest for NBC Sports & Peacock.
Operate routers, video scopes, Multiviews, and comms panel.
