United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is seeking an IT Specialist (Customer Support) for VOA in Washington, DC. The role provides advanced technical support for digital media broadcast systems, ingest, editing, playout, and archiving, delivering Tier I–III assistance in a high‑tempo 24/7 environment.

The incumbent supports systems including Dalet, PowerGold, ScheduAll, and Dataminer, with a focus on maintaining newsroom and broadcast continuity and enterprise IT readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT in a 24/7 broadcast environment.
• Familiar with ITSM ticketing and incident management processes.
• Knowledge of broadcast ingest, playout, and archival systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for IT incidents via phone, email, portal, chat, or walk-up; log in ITSM.
• Provide Tier I–III support for broadcasting systems and enterprise IT environments.
• Maintain Active Directory and Microsoft 365; manage user accounts and access.
• Install, troubleshoot, and validate Dalet, PowerGold, ScheduAll, and related apps.
• Ensure continuity of broadcast operations and 24/7 support to newsroom and production.
