Job summary

United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) IT Specialist (Customer Support) supports Office of Cuba Broadcasting in sustaining mission-critical broadcast IT systems, including ingest, editing, playout, and archiving. The role provides Tier I–III support, documents incidents, and coordinates with Tier II teams to minimize downtime in a high-tempo, 24/7 broadcast environment.

• Knowledge of broadcast IT systems and ingest/edit/playout workflows.
• Experience providing Tier I–III IT incident support.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I, II and III support for broadcasting systems and enterprise IT environments.
• Log, diagnose, and resolve incidents in the ITSM tool and maintain audit trails.
• Assist in testing and deploying software updates for broadcast systems.
