Job summary

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) seeks a dedicated and technically proficient full-time Digital Network Specialist Assistant to join our engineering team in Oklahoma City. You will bridge IT support with broadcast technology, providing hands-on assistance to our team and acting as a liaison between users and technical teams.

You will handle IT support duties on-site or remotely, assist in managing broadcast-related systems, and participate in a weekly on-call rotation to

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and education.
SBE certification is highly preferred.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for hardware and software conflicts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive IT support in person, by phone, and via remote desktop tools.
Install, repair, upgrade computer hardware and software; troubleshoot printing, email, word processing and other apps.
Support company mobile devices and manage user accounts with security patches and updates.
Assist Engineering with critical broadcast infrastructure including Editing Systems and Transmission Systems.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation as directed by VP of Engineering.
Support special projects and tasks assigned by the VP of Engineering.
