Job summary

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) seeks a dedicated full-time Digital Network Specialist Assistant to join the engineering team in Oklahoma City. You will bridge general IT support with broadcast technology, providing hands-on assistance to ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include IT support, hardware/software maintenance, and collaboration with the Engineering team on critical broadcast infrastructure such as editing, automation, and telemetry

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and education.
• SBE certification is highly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support to users in person, via phone, and through remote desktop tools.
• Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade computer hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing, email, word processing, and common apps.
• Provide configuration and technical assistance for company-issued mobile devices.
• Assist in managing user accounts and keep systems updated with security patches.
• Support engineering team with broadcast infrastructure including editing, automation, and telemetry systems.
• Act as liaison between customers and technical teams and escalate when needed.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation as directed by the VP of Engineering.
