Job summary

K-LOVE is searching for a Field Engineer III to support broadcast facilities from Los Angeles to Montana. You will ensure programming is broadcast seamlessly and at the highest quality, with expert installation, maintenance, and rapid fault diagnosis.

This role requires a strong background in RF, IP networking, and satellite links, with field presence at transmitter sites quarterly and readiness for on-site emergencies. You will mentor junior engineers and uphold FCC safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronics, broadcast communications, or 5+ years related experience.
  • SBE Certification desirable.
  • 6+ years expert-level experience in troubleshooting and maintaining broadcast equipment.
  • Strong understanding of IP-based signal distribution and RF emissions.
  • Excellent communication and on-site field-work capability.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and optimize broadcast equipment for high-quality transmission.
  • Diagnose complex faults and provide on-site repairs.
  • Mentor junior broadcast engineers and coordinate with contractors.
  • Maintain documentation and asset records.
