Job summary

K-LOVE is seeking a Field Engineer who will ensure broadcast facilities deliver the highest quality programming across diverse locations. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment such as audio processors, mixers, microwave and satellite gear, and ensure FCC compliance and safe operation.

This role requires hands-on skills reading schematics, soldering components, and using test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronics or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years troubleshooting broadcast electronics.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate overall technical operation of facilities and take corrective actions to ensure top quality.
• Install, maintain, and repair broadcast equipment to achieve the highest broadcast quality.
• Regularly operate equipment that controls signal strength, clarity, and sound.
• Coordinate with contract engineers to review projects and resolve issues.
• Travel to sites for installations, repairs, or training as needed.
