Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written, oral communications and organizational skills.
• On-call availability 24/7.
• 2 years technical school or military electronics training; 4 years broadcast ops experience preferred.
• FCC General Class license or SBE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy and maintain electronic equipment for optimum transmission and broadcast performance.
• Assist clients, technicians and service personnel in installation and support of hardware/software including servers, workstations, networking equipment and radio gear.
• Test faulty components to diagnose failures in electronic systems.
• Execute planned maintenance and upgrades as preventive measures.
• Align and calibrate RF transmission equipment per manufacturer specs and FCC regulations.
• Maintain data integrity and audio storage backups; ensure reliable operation of audio automation and internal tools.
