Job summary

WGBA Green Bay is seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team and support world-class content delivery using SDI and IP-based systems. You will collaborate with the news team to develop content workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain documentation and asset management.

Required qualifications include an Associate degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in the field, and Cisco/CompTIA Network+ certifications. A valid driver's license and SBE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

Associate degree in related field or equivalent years of experience preferred.
Generally, 5+ years experience in related field preferred.
Network certification required (Cisco, CompTIA Network+)
SBE certification preferred
At least 3 year broadcast operations experience preferred.
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.

Responsibilities

Provide world class customer service to all business partners internal and external to the Scripps organization with a positive 'can do' attitude.
Support, maintain, and install the full range of broadcast, RF, and production systems based on SDI and IP based architectures.
Setup and enhance software, hardware, server, automation and workflow systems to enable teams to be productive and efficient.
Partner with news department to develop and support content workflow and related systems including audio/video, cameras, editing, streaming, and workflow.
Use purchasing system to manage assets and budgeting with Engineering leadership.
