Job summary

Great Plains Communications is seeking a Broadband Technician to install and repair internet, phone, and TV services for business and residential customers in the Northeast Nebraska area. The role requires 1–7 years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.

You will work rotating weekends and be on-call as needed. Responsibilities include network installations, maintenance of coax and fiber systems, and promoting company services while delivering outstanding customer support.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years of related experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and testing equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, and repair internet, phone, and TV services.
• Maintain mainline coax and fiber systems for high performance.
• Promote company products and services while delivering outstanding support.
• Complete staking sheets, work orders, maps, and cable counts.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment; travel for training; work non-standard hours.
