Job summary

On Trac Communications, LLC is seeking a Broadband Installation Technician to connect services in customers’ homes and offices. You will test equipment, troubleshoot connections and educate customers on the services installed to ensure an excellent experience.

Responsibilities include arriving on time, maintaining organized work areas, and providing clear, patient explanations while adhering to safety guidelines. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of broadband installation experience preferred.
  • Strong computer, network and electronics skills; able to use tablet apps.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to convey technical info clearly.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain insurability.

Responsibilities

  • Install telecommunications services in homes/offices and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Provide clear explanations of installed services to customers.
  • Arrive on time and communicate any delays to customers.
  • Ensure cables and equipment are organized and tested for quality.
