Job summary

Civicworks is seeking a Broadband Data & Mapping Analyst PSC to support Illinois' broadband expansion efforts. The role involves data analysis, GIS mapping, and reporting for the Office of Broadband Development.

You will analyze connectivity data, maintain BEAD locations, and create Power BI dashboards and geospatial visuals to inform statewide strategies. The position requires experience in data analytics, ArcGIS, and presenting complex data to non-technical audiences, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in policy, data analytics, computer science, urban planning or related field.
• Two years of experience in data analysis using Excel, R, or Python.
• Two years of experience in geospatial analysis using ArcGIS.
• Experience presenting complex technical and spatial data to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Power BI dashboard creation.
