Job summary

Kforce is seeking a BrM Full Stack ASP.NET Developer in Bridge City, TX to join a team supporting state-of-the-art bridge management software for DOTs across North America. You will design features using ASP.NET Core REST APIs and a Vue 3 SPA, while maintaining existing layers and writing efficient SQL for MSSQL and Oracle.

You will collaborate with product owners, testers, engineers, and project managers and provide daily status updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C# / .NET, including ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• 2+ years with a modern JavaScript framework (Vue, React, or Angular).
• 2+ years using MSSQL and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Visual Studio 2022 for coding; SSMS for queries.
• Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Bridge City, TX that is seeking a BrM Full Stack ASP.NET Developer to be an important part of a team that supports state-of-the-art bridge management software used by government Departments of Transportation across North America to inventory, inspect, and manage their bridges. The Developer will be expected to work with an energetic team that includes product owners, quality testers, civil engineers, and other software developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build new features across a modern full stack: ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) REST APIs and a Vue 3 single-page application
• Maintain and extend existing application layers, including business logic, data access, and reporting
• Write and tune SQL for both SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Work with the Software Development Manager and individual project managers to meet project goals
• Provide daily updates on work assigned via our project management application

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with C# / .NET, including ASP.NET Core Web APIs
• 2 years of experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Vue, React, or Angular); ProMiles utilizes Vue 3 with Vite and Pinia
• 2 years using MSSQL and writing SQL queries
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs
• Experience using Visual Studio 2022 to write and debug code, and SSMS to query databases
• Experience using Git and Azure DevOps (or similar) for source control and CI/CD
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a distributed team
• The ability to multi-task and adapt to quick changes in priorities

Desired

• 2 years of experience with Oracle in addition to SQL Server
• Experience with Dapper or other micro-ORMs and writing performant data-access code
• Experience with automated testing (xUnit/NUnit, Vitest) and validation frameworks such as FluentValidation
• Experience with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, JWT)
• Experience with observability tooling (structured logging, Open Telemetry, Prometheus/Jaeger)
• Familiarity with transportation, bridge inspection, or other civil-infrastructure domains

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
